After earning a B.A. in journalism and mass communication from Humboldt State University, Karen Wilkinson went on to write for several newspapers on California's North Coast. She most recently worked for Government Technology, an online and print publication that caters to IT workers in state and local governments. She resides in Sacramento and strives to inform the public.
