The park has been undergoing construction and expansion in 2010. Additions to it include walkway and parking lot resurfacing, a new restroom and a butterfly garden. The previous play area was expanded, as well, and a new area for younger visitors was added.
The park features a number of athletic facilities: tennis courts, softball fields and a somewhat hilly soccer field. A number of park benches and uncovered picnic tables are offered, and a little league snack bar sits at the eastern side near Contempo Court.
Wheelchairs or strollers may have trouble on some of the older paths, which are uneven and cracked in some places.
