Has anyone attended the Sac City School District meetings on this? I have had a conflict with everyRead More date so far. I thought the Common Core was getting away from the standardized testing - sounds like that isn't the case.

This may take the prize for the most frivolous lawsuit filed in recent history. To some people,Read More everything is race based if there are some deep pockets in the background. It is preposterous that any school district would use race as a criterion for closing or opening schools.

We are wanting to connect with other parents of kids with food allergies to discuss ways we can keepRead More our school as safe as possible for our kids. It seems crazy that there is zero tolerance for violence but students are allowed to bring food to school that can kill other children.

I agree, Last yr I asked my child's teacher if any child had food allergies when it our time toRead More bring snack, the replys I was given was "I don't know, I don't think so" Scary.. If my child had a food allergy I would make them wear a bracelet that states so and inform the teacher and always remind everyone.

WOW... Lazy Teaching Strikes AGAIN!!! Looks like who ever is running that high school needs to getRead More it together or start looking for a new JOB! The kids have to be pushed every day and that takes hard work. Just because you have your 10 year does not mean you get to sit back and watch. STEP UP ROSEMONT!

That's not acceptable. What's the point in even having the school open?

Gabe Ross - "Also, the new plan would provide free lunch for more students at ourRead More schools." Hey Mr. Ross, it is not FREE! Someone else is being made to pay for it! How about you reduce, not increase the cost of lunch and everyone pays equal for his/her own lunch? Or brings their own? Instead they want to make the few "providers" already paying full price to pay more for THEIR lunch so that MORE "takers" can get a free lunch? Common sense: When you have more takers than providers, it can not sustain itself and will crash.
