Sequoia Elementary School

<p>Sequoia Elementary School, located in a residential neighborhood on Rosemont Drive, focuses on helping students develop and on involving the larger community. The school was a Title I Achievement Award winner in 2007, and has been recognized as an exemplary school by the Sacramento City Unified School District.</p> <p>The school houses an on-site daycare and a parent-participation preschool. During the 2002-2003 school year, the school was modernized through updates to the plumbing, exterior, heating and air conditioning, portables and other areas.</p>
