Recap: 5K Fun Run - Rancho's 2nd Annual Walk, Wag and Roll

Any time I can take the dogs with me, I'm happy. On Saturday we went over to Rancho Cordova for a fun little 5K walk with the doggies. It was at one of the beautiful new parks in Rancho and there was a band, food and friendly people with their equally friendly dogs. This was a great walk because the entry fee was only $10 for an individual or $20 for a family and you get a T-shirt along with the previously mentioned activities.

The weather was perfect, sunny with a nice breeze. The band played all during the run/walk. The course was a loop around the park and you could hear the band the entire time. Eight loops equal 3.1 miles. This was Cordova Rec and Park District's second-annual fun run. I hope they do it again–I will certainly participate.
