This weekend is going to be a scorcher, and it appears the heat will continue into next week, according to the National Weather Service.
In a special weather statement, the NOAA stated that strong, high pressure will remain over Northern California through the weekend, resulting in a prolonged period of hot temperatures that could potentially last into next week. The hottest days will be today (Friday) and Saturday.
In the statement, officials gave the following safety tips:

Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day

Never leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle

Wear light weight, light colored clothing
The weather in Rosemont is predicted as follows:
Today: Sunny and hot with a high near 103, clear with a low around 63.
Saturday: Sunny and hot with a high near 105, mostly clear with a low around 65.
Sunday: Sunny and hot with a high near 103, mostly clear with a low around 61.
