Does Usain Bolt Excessively Showboat?

The gold medal winner is known for his signature "lightning bolt" stretch after winning races.

It’s no surprise that Olympians receive a rush of adrenaline from fans’ adoration and deafening cheers from the crowd. But Usain Bolt thrives on the roars from the stands.

After his 100m gold medal win and breaking his own world record on Monday, Bolt did a series of moves: he unfurled his signature “lightning bolt” stretch, ran around the stadium and even did a little dance after hugging fellow Jamaican and silver medalist Yohan Blake.

However, this celebration began after he crossed the line, as opposed to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing when he pre-celebrated before officially finishing the race.
