Who's Your Pick in the NBA Finals?

Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder—who ya got and why?

The NBA Finals are here.

While it's been a long decade since our were playing in the Western Conference Finals, you can still root for the small-market Oklahoma City Thunder against the hated Miami Heat as Game 1 begins tonight at 6 p.m.

Whether you watch from the comfort of your own home or a Rosemont sports bar such as Mushroom Lounge or a family establishment like Round Table Pizza, it will be a fun series.

The Thunder, formerly the Seattle Supersonics, are led by NBA scoring leader Kevin Durant along with point guard Russell Westbrook and swingman James Harden, whose beard reminds one of San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson. The Heat from South Beach are led by NBA MVP LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

I like Miami to win in six games because they were in the Finals last season, they're all business now and OKC hasn't faced the pressure of the Finals before.

Roberto, Looks like the discourse is losing steam. There's an article in today's Bee by PaulRead More Krugman (Nobel Prize winner for economics) titled "Austerity policy creating long-term unemployment." I'd be interested in your thoughts on Krugman's take on the debt issue you raised days ago.

Now, now Mark, no need to get personal. Tom brings some important facts to the table. Our nation'sRead More spending is uncontrolled in almost every area including defense. We're not managing our spending and revenue is in the toilet. If the administration continues at this pace, they'll be going to Mexico for our next loan.
