Local fans of the San Francisco Giants will have a chance to get up close and personal with the team's 2012 World Series trophy next week.
The trophy is making its first stop of a national tour Tuesday at Sacramento City Hall, 915 I Street.
It will be available for a free viewing from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., the team announced. The viewing will include both the 2012 and 2010 trophies, and visitors will be able to pose for photos with them–no touching allowed.
Future stops on the tour include cities in the Bay Area, Central Valley, New York City, Scottsdale, AZ., Medford, OR., and more.
