Rosemont Wrestling Overpowered by Florin
The Rosemont Wolverines varsity wrestling team was dominated by the Florin Panthers Thursday at Rosemont High School.
The Rosemont Wolverines varsity wrestling team did not fare well against Florin High School Thursday after only four wrestlers earned victories against the Panthers.
Coach Ryan Synhorst of Rosemont said that Florin had tough wrestlers on its team who were difficult to match up against.
“I was hoping we could have put up a little better showing, but those kids were tough; they sure knew what they were doing,” Synhorst said. “They executed better than we did. We did the same moves they did – they just did them better.”

In general, Synhorst was speechless after the loss and said the team will have to start a rebuilding process from here.
“We’re just going to have to go back to the drawing board, I guess,” he said. “We have to reevaluate ourselves. We did the same moves they did; they just did them harder and faster.

“I wouldn’t say that we had an off day today. Their good kids beat our good kids and they did an awesome job today.”
Rosemont will face off against Hiram Johnson on the road Tuesday.
