Rosemont Little League Welcomes Sunny New Season: Share Your Pics Here
Hundreds of players, parents and community members gathered in Rosemont Community Park this weekend.
For the "first time in several years," Rosemont's youngest baseball players celebrated the start of their season to sunny skies, not rain clouds.
The Rosemont Little League held its annual opening day parade Saturday, and parents and community members crowded Mirandy and Contempo drives to watch teams march to the fields at Rosemont Community Park.
It was a welcome chance for the league to get back to its main focus; officials said they would much rather be focused on baseball than make headlines for controversy over a field rental fee increase.
