Cheer Sacramento 2012 Tryouts - Round 2

 ,   Add to calendar
2939 Promenade St West Sacramento CA 95691  See map

Calling all cheerleaders, dancers and gymnasts!  Cheer Sacramento is holding a clinic and tryouts for the 2012 season!

The clinic is from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at The Bounce Spot in West Sacramento (2939 Promenade Street, West Sacramento, CA 95691).  Tryouts will begin at 8:45 p.m.

Cheer Sacramento has been actively involved in the Sacramento community since 1999.  Cheer Sacramento performs and fundraises at various community events, including Sacramento Pride, the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure” and the California International Marathon.  The team has even been in a Coca-Cola commercial.

When attending tryouts, participants should wear red and black work-out clothes and athletic shoes – cheer shoes are preferred – and bring water.  Participants will learn a routine that will include a dance, stunting and jumps. Additionally, there will be a short interview.  The cost to tryout is $20.  This includes the clinic, tryout fee and a t-shirt.

Anyone who is 17 years old and up is welcome to try out for the team.  We are looking for committed cheerleaders, dancers and gymnasts to add to the team.  Current members range in age from 18 to 35.  There is no age maximum for the team; however, members must be in good physical shape as cheerleading is a very active sport.

Roberto, Looks like the discourse is losing steam. There's an article in today's Bee by PaulRead More Krugman (Nobel Prize winner for economics) titled "Austerity policy creating long-term unemployment." I'd be interested in your thoughts on Krugman's take on the debt issue you raised days ago.

Now, now Mark, no need to get personal. Tom brings some important facts to the table. Our nation'sRead More spending is uncontrolled in almost every area including defense. We're not managing our spending and revenue is in the toilet. If the administration continues at this pace, they'll be going to Mexico for our next loan.
