The Capital Christian boys basketball team will play at a summer tournament in Berkeley this weekend.
The Cougars play their first game Friday at 5 p.m. against the Oakland Rebels, then play again at 8 p.m. against Newark Memorial.
Other teams at the tournament include perennial powerhouses De La Salle, Jesuit, and Cardinal Newman, who face the Cougars at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
"We’re swimiming in deep waters this weekend," said Phil Oates, assistant coach at Capital Christian. "It’s all about getting better in the summer."
