Taylor Whited Bound for Pepperdine University

This Capital Christian High School senior plans to aim for a career in medicine.

Since the first grade, Taylor Whited has attended . Now, she is a graduating senior about to become a freshman at Pepperdine University in Malibu.

At Pepperdine, Taylor hopes to study biology and nutritional sciences and one day become a doctor in Obstetrics and Gynecology. This dream was discovered after the birth of her younger siblings.

“I’ve always wanted to be a doctor,” Taylor said. “And witnessing their births made it all click together.”

In addition to discovering her dreams of becoming a doctor, Taylor has also been heavily involved with the leadership of Capital Christian High School. Over the years, she has held the position of class president and then student body president on the student council, been the editor in chief for yearbook, and found the time to play on the school’s golf team. She originally started off high school as a cheerleader but in her sophomore year transferred over to golf because she felt it was more of a “life sport.”
