School Site Council Training Monday at RHS
The school will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. in the library.
Parents interested in joining a local school site council have one more chance at a training session from the Sacramento City Unified School District: A meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the library.
According to the district's website, a school site council is "a school community’s representative body made up of school staff, parents/community members and at the secondary level, students."
Monday's meeting will go over that basic info, as well as the body's roles and responsibilities. The meeting will also discuss "the use of categorical funding and linking expenditures to student achievement," according to a flier.
