Rosemont's First Scholarship Football Player Signs Letter of Intent

Defensive tackle Andrew Hunter is the first Rosemont High School student ever to earn a football scholarship.

It took seven seasons, but Rosemont High School can finally say a Wolverine is playing at a four-year college on a scholarship.

Andrew Hunter, a defensive tackle who played on the varsity team as a sophomore, signed a letter of intent Wednesday to attend UC Davis once he graduates. Friends, family members, teammates and coaches watched him sign the letter at a small ceremony in the Rosemont High School cafeteria.
