Rosemont to Celebrate Homecoming Friday

This year marks fourth homecoming since high school opened its doors in 2003.

Rosemont High School's annual Homecoming parade will make its way through the streets Friday afternoon. Starting at 3:30 p.m., the festivities will start at the corner of South Port Drive and Kiefer Boulevard and head toward the high school.

This year marks the school's fourth homecoming since it opened its doors in 2003. This year's theme is "Legends of the Night" and the event is a chance for alumni to come home to Rosemont, Principal Leise Martinez said.

"It's a pretty big celebration, so we're looking forward to it," she said.

The parade is set to end at the high school around 4:30 p.m. and the junior varsity football game will begin at 5 p.m., while the varsity game will start at 7 p.m. Rosemont High will play against C.K. McClatchy High School.

Roberto, Looks like the discourse is losing steam. There's an article in today's Bee by PaulRead More Krugman (Nobel Prize winner for economics) titled "Austerity policy creating long-term unemployment." I'd be interested in your thoughts on Krugman's take on the debt issue you raised days ago.

Now, now Mark, no need to get personal. Tom brings some important facts to the table. Our nation'sRead More spending is uncontrolled in almost every area including defense. We're not managing our spending and revenue is in the toilet. If the administration continues at this pace, they'll be going to Mexico for our next loan.
