RHS Students and Staff Will Play Basketball Against Members of the 49ers

Unnamed members of the 49ers will play a game against Rosemont students and staff to raise money for the school.

Some Rosemont High School students and staff will have some unique opponents for a charity basketball game on May 24: members of the San Francisco 49ers.

The Wolverines will square off with the Niners for a Rosemont High School foundation basketball game, where the school hopes to raise enough money for folding chairs to use at basketball and volleyball games, a trophy case and a new school mascot costume.

"Although we cannot name which members of the 49ers will attend this event, members of the 49ers will play in the game and will be available for limited pictures and autograph sessions," Rosemont High School Activities Director Chris Gosney said in a press release.

Tickets for the event are $10, and can be purchased during lunch from the stage or student store, from students who are members of ASB, or from the school's front office. The event is open to all.
