Gallery: Rosemont Homecoming Parades Down Kiefer

Rosemont High School held its third annual homecoming parade Friday afternoon.

The took "most spirited" honors in this week's homecoming parade, but that doesn't mean they were the only festive ones during the festivities.

The event took over Kiefer Boulevard from South Port Drive to the high school parking lot, and featured local elementary schools, (which won an award for the most creative float), youth sports clubs, community groups and businesses.

Awards for the Parade:  

2nd Place Most Spirited: Golden Empire

1st Place Most Spirited: Rosemont Junior Wolverines

Most Creative: Albert Einstein PTSA  

Best float of the high school classes (or parade): Juniors Class of 2013.

Class of 2015, Freshman, Music - Grease: We go together

Royalty: Lord Jordon Miller, Lady Ginger Yang

Theme: Golden Era - 1950's & 60's  

Class of 2014, Sophomores, Music - Medieval II Total War, Heat of the Battle(Soundtrack from the video game)

Royalty: Duke Rudy Del Real, Duchess Jessica Prothro

Theme: Medieval Era  

Class of 2013, Juniors, Music - 2001: A Space Odyssey

Royalty: Prince Hunter Chavez, Princess Catin Ton

Throughout the week, classes at Rosemont High school have competed in three areas: hall decorating, rally and parade. The winner of homecoming is determined after all three categories have been averaged together.  

4th Place: Freshman

3rd Place: Junior Class

Runner up: Sophomore Class
