A little inclement weather won't get in the way of a community celebration at Rosemont High School Friday evening.
The Essence of Rosemont, an annual event featuring all the public schools in the neighborhood, will start at 5.
"The celebration begins at 5 p.m. consisting of carnival games for kids, tasty food, school performances, exhibits, and a movie under the stars with family and friends," .
The National Weather Service predicts a 30 percent chance of rain before 11 p.m. Friday, but even if it does rain, the Essence of Rosemont will be held.
Student Activities Director Chris Gosney said the event would go on, rain or shine.
