About 500 members of a local Mormon church will gather at three Rosemont schools this weekend to clean up and repair school grounds, according to a press release.
As part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' annual "Mormon Helping Hands" program, members of the church's Wissemann Drive location will volunteer from 9 a.m. to noon at , and .
"Volunteers will be planting trees, bushes and flowers; weeding; cleaning playground equipment; and painting benches, building trim and parking lots," spokeswoman Kimberlie Davis said in the release.
