This course teaches Microsoft Excel 2010 basics. Learn how to use this popular spreadsheet such as creating a personal budget sheet, and keep track of your investments. You can also use Excel to follow loan repayments, create invoices and more. Prior experience with the computer is required. Class consists of three two-hour and 30 minute sessions. You must be willing to commit to ALL three sessions! Classes will start on Friday April 4 @ 9:30 a.m. Following classes are Friday April 11 @ 9:30 a.m., and Friday April 25 @ 9:30 a.m. Registration is required. This is an OASIS Connections class.

Why do plants produce seeds? In this action-packed California Food Literacy program, kids will learn how to remove sunflower seeds from the flower, create their own seed packet to take home, and discover how the seeds can also be turned into a spread called Sun Butter that's similar to peanut butter. For kids with nut allergies, this spread made from seeds is a safe alternative. We'll eat the homemade sun butter on graham crackers. We'll read Sunflower House.
