Rosemont Population Flat From 2000-2010
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the population of Rosemont is around 23,000.
Rosemont wasn't exactly a hot destination for people moving during the last decade.
According to U.S. Census Bureau figures released Tuesday, the current population of Rosemont is basically unchanged from the figure in 2000, and remained around 23,000 people.
That's in contrast with the statewide population, which grew 10 percent, and Sacramento County, which saw an increase of 16 percent.

But while the total population of Rosemont didn't change much, some of the demographics did. The mixed-race population rose and the number of whites fell. The population also aged slightly.
