Dibrom, also known as Naled, has been approved for aerial mosquito spraying by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, although the pesticide could be dangerous if used on the ground near houses and people.
According to a story on the Huffington Post, officials from the mosquito district did not urge residents to take precautions with the new pesticide because they say it's safe.
