Rosemont residents will have a chance to get up close and personal with their newly elected congressman this weekend.
Rep. Ami Bera (D-Elk Grove) will hold a "Congress on your Corner" event from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Golden Pond Retirement Community, 3415 Mayhew Road.
“'Congress on your Corners' are open to the public and offer constituents the opportunity to share their thoughts with Congressman Bera and his staff about legislation in Congress and happenings in their community," Bera's office said in a press release. "Constituents can also seek assistance with any issues they may be having with a federal agency."
Bera will hold another event the day prior in Rancho Murieta. Here are the full details on both:
