CRPD Wants to Sell You its Junk Toyota Pickup
The Cordova Recreation and Park District is scheduled to meet Wednesday.
It doesn't make for a very appealing for sale ad: "The vehicle is aged, no longer operational, and beyond affordable repair. It currently has more than 175,000 miles, a damaged interior, and is in need of tires, and multiple repairs that would cost more than the vehicle is worth."
That's how the Cordova Recreation and Park District describes a 1991 Toyota pickup it hopes to sell for $100 or $200. Before it can do that, the district's board of directors must declare the vehicle as "surplus property" and authorize a private sale.
The board is scheduled to discuss the item when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at 2197 Chase Dr., Rancho Cordova.

The board is also scheduled to discuss a proposed $16,100 purchase of new "recreation management software."
