CRPD to Start Search for New Admin by end of August

The Cordova Recreation and Park District says it will soon begin its search for a new administrator.

The Cordova Recreation and Park District will soon be on its way to another permanent district administrator.

Resource Manager Andrea White said this week that the organization will start its recruitment by the end of next month.

"The Cordova Recreation and Park District final budgets will be passed on August 3, 2011 and then recruitment will begin soon after," White said in an email. "We hope to have a recruiter hired and [be] starting the recruitment process by the end of August."

Former Senior Landscape Architect Doug Critchfield has , earning a $12,000 per month salary, according to district records.

Critchfield is taking the place of David Edmonds, whose base salary was $13,000 per month.
