Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is scheduled to give what CBS News is calling "the biggest speech of [his] life" Thursday, and a local GOP group will be gathered to watch it.
The Sacramento County Republican Party will hold a Convention Watch Party from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at its headquarters in Rancho Cordova.
Romney is scheduled to speak after being introduced by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) at 7 p.m.
Local Republican candidates have been invited to the event, the party wrote on its Facebook page. The event is free and food and refreshments will be served.
The Sacramento County Republican Headquarters is located at 9851 Horn Road, Suite 170, Rancho Cordova.
