Updated: Cordova Recreation and Park District to Discuss Budget Wednesday
The organization will discuss its finances this week.
The Cordova Recreation and Park District Board of Directors will hold a special meeting this week to plan for the 2011-12 fiscal year. The directors will hold their final budget workshop to discuss the district's general fund, its , funding for maintenance and improvements, and other areas.
Executive Assistant and Assistant Clerk of the Board Danielle Sather said the budget process is still full of unknowns.
"The county doesn’t even release final numbers to us until July 25, so all of our reports are currently incomplete," Sather said by email. "The purpose of the workshop is to show the board any projected changes since they passed the preliminary budget."

The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. upstairs at Mills Station, 2900 Mather Field Rd. in Rancho Cordova.
