People aren't the only hungry ones this holiday season.
The Sacramento County Animal Shelter is asking for donations of wet pet food, which it uses for animals with special needs.
"If you see a good sale on some or feel like doing a good deed for the week could you bring us some?" the shelter posted on Facebook Friday, saying it was all out.
Food can be dropped off or shipped to 3839 Bradshaw Rd., Sacramento.
Several users replied that they would drop off food over the weekend, and the shelter posted a thank-you.
