Woman Allegedly Stabs Boyfriend in Leg

A 50-year-old woman was arrested just north of Rosemont Wednesday.

An argument just north of Rosemont turned violent Wednesday, and ended with a 50-year-old woman stabbing her live-in boyfriend in the leg, according to a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department crime log.

The fight, at the pair's La Quinta Drive home, sent the man to the hospital and Ramona Reietta Bailey to jail on charges of domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.

Sacramento County Sheriff's Department spokesman Dep. Jason Ramos said the victim's injury "was not very serious."

Bailey is currently being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail, and is charged with two felonies. Her bail is set at $170,000, and she is due in court on Friday.
