Sac Sheriff's Department Seeks Information in Series of Crimes

Sheriff’s detectives are looking to identify a group of suspects wanted in connection to a recent series of robberies during the last month.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department issued a press release Tuesday evening seeking the assistance from the community at large in the apprehension of a group of suspects believed to be responsible for at least five separate robberies throughout the Sacramento area, including Citrus Heights, Rosemont and Roseville.

Sheriff's Sgt. Jason Ramos issued the following statement regarding the issue:

Sheriff’s detectives are looking to identifying a group of suspects wanted in connection to a recent series of robberies during the last month. In each of the incidents, the suspects have been described as white or Hispanic males believed to be in their 20s. They wear black ski masks or hooded sweatshirts pulled tight around their faces (see attached surveillance photos from a robbery on February 4th, 2013).

This group of suspects is believed to be responsible for the following incidents:

  • 01/31/13 – Robbery at Hoa Viet restaurant – 3110 Bradshaw Road
  • 01/31/13 – Robbery at the Star of Sam Thai Food – 6029 Greenback Lane
  • 02/02/13 – Robbery at Original Pete’s Pizza – 4521 Gateway Park Boulevard
  • 02/04/13 – Carjacking – 100 block of Riverside Boulevard (Roseville)
  • 02/04/13 – Robbery – Adalberto’s Restaurant – 5544 Watt Avenue

  • On February 4, 2013, the vehicle taken in the carjacking, a 2012 grey Nissan Altima, was later used as the getaway vehicle in a robbery that same day. The suspects have been armed with black, semi-automatic handguns and a dark-colored revolver. One of the handguns has been described as having an extended magazine. The suspects enter the businesses, and target cash registers as well as personal property of employees and customers.

Crime is up and will keep increasing due to the economy and increasing gas prices.......meanwhile Feinstein is hard at work trying to disarm legal law abiding citizens instead of creating a budget and creating jobs to get the economy going!

I agree. The economy is so bad, more and more people who need money are turning to into theives, robbing, stealing. It's just going to get worse and that's scarey!
