Probationer Arrested on Drug Charges at Taco Bell

A 25-year-old man was arrested on Bradshaw Road Monday.

Rancho Cordova Police arrested a 25-year-old man Monday outside a Bradshaw Road fast food restaurant after they say he was found with methamphetamine in his pocket.

Andrew Francis, who is on probation for a 2009 drug charge, was stopped by officers Monday afternoon outside the Taco Bell on Bradshaw Road, according to a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department crime log.

The officers searched Francis and found the drug in his pants pocket, the department said.

He was arrested, but was released Tuesday, department spokesman Jason Ramos said in an email.

Francis is due in court Wednesday for February charges that he allegedly drove under the influence on a suspended license.
