Police Ask for Help Identifying Rancho Cordova Bank Robbery Suspect

Photos were released Wednesday of a man suspected of robbing the same bank twice.

Rancho Cordova Police are asking for help with identifying the man shown at right, who is suspected of robbing a US Bank on Olson Drive in that city on June 13 and again on Saturday.

Both times, he "demanded money while simulating the possession of a handgun under his shirt," according to a press release. He fled on foot each time, and no getaway car was seen.

He's described as a 40 - 50-year-old black male with a stocky build, standing between 6-foot-2 and 6-foot-4. He has been seen wearing a green baseball hat, dark sunglasses and a cream-colored shirt, the department said.
