Meth Arrests Made on Micron Avenue, Folsom Boulevard

Two recent arrests were reported by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.

Two men were arrested on drug charges in separate incidents this week and last, according to a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department crime log.

Steve Walker, 36, was arrested on Micron Avenue on Wednesday night. He was walking down the street, and dropped a plastic bag when he saw officers approaching, department spokesman Dep. Jason Ramos said.

"He was detained on suspicion of littering, but further inspection showed that the baggie contained methamphetamine," Ramos said in an email.

Garcia is currently being held on felony charges of drug possession and probation violation, as well as warrants for failing to appear for a marijuana charge and failing to appear for charges of not paying a Sacramento Regional Transit fare.

His total bail is set at $56,140 and he is next due in court Tuesday afternoon.
