Man Robbed of Cell Phone and Marijuana at Gas Station

A man was robbed at gunpoint last week, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.

A man was robbed at gunpoint at a Folsom Boulevard gas station last week, according to a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department crime log.

The 32-year-old victim was sitting in a truck at the Shell station on Folsom Boulevard and La Riviera Drive around 5 p.m. on May 24, the department said. A man allegedly walked up and asked to use his cell phone, then pulled out a gun and grabbed the phone. He also stole a bag of medical marijuana from the victim's front seat, according to the crime log.

The crime wasn't reported until Wednesday.

The suspect, who fled around the building, is described only as a black male with black hair, between 32 and 38 years old, standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 240 pounds.
