Man Arrested on Suspicion of Theft From Walmart

Walter Pogue went to jail after he allegedly went into Walmart and took several items.

Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies arrested Walter Pogue, 48, after he allegedly walked into Walmart at 10655 Folsom Blvd and took several items from the store Sunday afternoon.

Police say Pogue went into the store with a razor knife, selected a few items and concealed them in a duffel back. Police allege that Pogue cut off the sensors from some of the items and exited the store without paying.
When confronted by the store's security staff, Pogue ran from them. A deputy responding to the scene located Pogue and detained him. The deputy located the duffel bag with the items inside and took Pogue to jail.
