Man Arrested After Alleged Fight with Girlfriend

Leon Suk Chang was arrested Monday.

A 51-year-old man was arrested Monday after he beat his girlfriend at her Kiefer Boulevard apartment, a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department crime log said.

Leon Suk Chang spent the afternoon drinking with his girlfriend, when the two got into an argument that became physical, according to the crime log.

Chang allegedly punched his girlfriend and kicked her in the ribs when she fell.

The girlfriend "attempted to flee the apartment, but [Chang] held [her] in the apartment against her will," the crime log states. "[The victim] was eventually able to escape with family members' assistance."

Chang was arrested later at his home. He's currently being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail on a misdemeanor count of domestic violence, and is due in court Friday morning.

Roberto, Looks like the discourse is losing steam. There's an article in today's Bee by PaulRead More Krugman (Nobel Prize winner for economics) titled "Austerity policy creating long-term unemployment." I'd be interested in your thoughts on Krugman's take on the debt issue you raised days ago.
