Mailbox Blown Up Near Albert Einstein MS

A vandal destroyed a mailbox in Rosemont, according to the sheriff's department.

Two Rosemont residents near Albert Einstein Middle School received an unwelcome package last month, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.

An unknown suspect put an explosive device in a mailbox on Mirandy Drive on April 3, a sheriff's department crime log states. The incident didn't appear in the department's crime log until this week.

The explosion left pieces of the victims' metal mailbox scattered around the neighborhood, the crime log states.

"Fragments from the mailbox were located on neighboring yards," the department says.
