Updated: How to Donate to Jessica's Family

A memorial account has been set up at Wells Fargo.

Updated, 3:30 p.m. Friday: Community members looking to donate to the family of slain Rosemont teen Jessica Funk-Haslam now have an official way to do so:

A memorial account is available at any Wells Fargo branch under the name "Jessica Haslam Memorial Account," according to the Sacramento City Unified School District.

"Members of the public wishing to make a donation to the memorial account can go into any Wells Fargo Bank (click for locations) and ask the staff to look up the account under the name," the district said on its website.

Sacramento City Unified School District Trustee Donald Terry, who works for Wells Fargo, said his employer will donate $1,000 toward renovations at the little league field where Jessica's body was found.

"I just hope folks will be generous in helping the family in affording the financial burden they will [face] in the next few months as they deal with the tragic loss of this little girl," Terry said in an email.
