Gang Symposium in Rosemont Thursday

Law enforcement authorities and the Rosemont Community Association will host a seminar Thursday aimed at teaching residents about preventing gang violence.

Want to know more about stopping gangs in Rosemont?

There will be a community gang awareness meeting Thursday at Albert Einstein Middle School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  The event is hosted by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, the District Attorney and the Rosemont Community Association.

Deputies will speak about reducing gang violence and grafitti while addressing successful prevention measures such as the Sheriff Activities League and the Youth Services Unit.
