The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department reported a man allegedly shot his brother after a fight near Rosemont on Monday.
Deputies arrived at the 2500 block of Warrego Way around 4:30 p.m. after a call of two men involved in a fight. When deputies arrived, they found an adult male waiting in the driveway of a residence on Warrego.
Deputies detained the subject and entered the residence where they found the victim, a male adult, with a fatal gunshot wound to the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A handgun was found near the victim's body.
The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
