Drugs Allegedly Found in Car and Bra, Pockets

Two people were arrested recently on separate drug charges.

Rancho Cordova Police have made two recent drug arrests in the Rosemont area, according to a crime log released Tuesday.

In one case, a 35-year-old woman with three warrants out for her arrest was taken in Sunday after allegedly being found with methamphetamine.

The car Michelle Lopez was riding in that evening was pulled over in the 3400 block of Bradshaw Road and officers found the drugs in a bag on the floorboard of the car where she was sitting, according to the crime log.

More drugs were also found in Lopez's bra once she arrived at jail, the department said.

Lopez was released the same day on $5,000 bail for the drug charge and a total of $2,136 bail for the three warrants, spokesman Dep. Jason Ramos said.

In a separate incident, 28-year-old Christopher Fontaine was contacted Wednesday while walking near Folsom Boulevard and Butterfield Way, the crime log states.

Officers found him with "four loose hydrocodone pills" in his pocket, which he doesn't have a prescription for, the crime log said. He was arrested but released after his arraignment on Friday, Ramos said.
