Crime Log May 23-28: Domestic Dispute, Theft, Mugging

Department crime log reports domestic dispute, burglary and armed mugging in Rosemont area.

A man was arrested after a domestic dispute on the 9000 block of Folsom Boulevard on May 23, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department's weekly crime summary.

The suspect, 30, allegedly grabbed, struck and choked the victim several times at a Rosemont residence.  The victim, 32, is the suspect's wife and had visible bruises along with several healed and fresh scratches.  

Home Robbed on New Dawn Drive

The home of an elderly woman was robbed in Rosemont on May 24, according to the sheriff's department. 

An unknown suspect came through an open window and took several items from the residence on New Dawn Drive.  No information was reported about the suspect and no one has been arrested.

Armed Mugging on Norcade Circle

A man was mugged at his Norcade Circle home on May 18, according to the sheriff's department.

The man was sitting in his open garage when three armed suspects approached and ordered him to the floor.  The suspects then took property from the garage and fled.  No arrests have been made.
