A man was tasered after refusing to leave a business near Vince's Motel on May 20, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Two men reportedly caused a disturbance after allegedly threatening another individual near the motel. When deputies arrived, they found one of the suspects on the sidewalk of Folsom Boulevard.
According to deputies, the suspect refused to stop when they contacted him on the sidewalk. After repeated requests to stop, deputies tried using a Taser to detain the suspect but the man fled the scene.
After a brief pursuit, deputies finally detained the suspect and arrested him. The suspect was placed in maximum restraints after kicking out a patrol car's window and was taken to jail.
