Crime Log June 19-26: Roommate Attacked

Department crime log reports a man assaulted his roommate in Rosemont.

A man was arrested after an argument on Achates Circle on June 18, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department's weekly crime summary.

Gofredo Gomez, 39, allegedly struck his roommate, 46, with a metal pole and fled the scene.  The victim needed emergency medical treatment and was taken to the hospital by another roommate.

When the suspect returned later he was arrested by deputies.
