Cocaine and Meth Arrests Made Near Bradshaw

The same intersection just east of Rosemont was home to two separate arrests within a few days of each other last week, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.

Car stopped in roadway, drugs allegedly found

On Wednesday evening, officers found two men with cocaine and marijuana near Lincoln Village and Viking drives, according to a sheriff's department crime log. Rancho Cordova Police officers saw a car stopped in the middle of the street, and found cocaine "wrapped in a ten dollar bill" on 31-year-old John Tikoisuva, the crime log states. Officers also found marijuana in the car, according to the crime log.

Tikoisuva was arrested on suspicion of violating his parole and drug charges, while 21-year-old Jermaine Dorsey was cited for drug charges and released.

Lightless bicycle alerts officers

Early Saturday morning, officers stopped a woman at Lincoln Village and Viking drives for riding a bicycle without a light, according to the crime log. They eventually arrested 31-year-old Marissa D. Oglesby, whose photo is above.

"A record`s check of [Oglesby] revealed five (5) outstanding misdemeanor warrants for her arrest," the crime log states. "[Oglesby] gave officers consent to search her person and officers located a clear glass smoking pipe with black residue in it and a clear plastic baggie with an off color white crystal like substance in it, in [Oglesby's] pant pocket. The substance was methamphetamine."

According to county records, she had five arrest warrants from Sacramento Regional Transit, all for allegedly failing to appear after charges of fare evadement or violating Regional Transit's alcohol policy. She's also being charged with a misdemeanor drug charge, and is being held on a total of $7,154 bail.

Oglesby is due in court Tuesday afternoon.
