Update: The onramp is now open.
Motorists, steer clear of the westbound freeway onramp at Bradshaw Road: The California Highway Patrol says the onramp is closed because of an accident.
The accident, which the CHP said caused major injuries, was between a Toyota and a bicyclist, according to the CHP website.
The accident was first reported around 5:30 p.m., the CHP said.
Authorities are at the scene of the accident, according to the CHP website. The CHP does not have an estimated reopening time for the onramp.
