April 21-25: Ex-Boyfriend Arrested After Alleged Fight, Rape Reported

A recent crime log from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department lists two nearby arrests.

A 23-year-old man was arrested last week after authorities say he punched and choked his ex-girlfriend.

According to a recently released Sacramento County Sheriff's Department crime log, Sean Stewart was visiting his 22-year-old ex-girlfriend, whom he dated for seven years. The two argued at the woman's Birchgrove Way home, and Stewart allegedly punched her in the head and choked her. He also broke items in her home, the department said.

The victim had swelling on her head, according to the crime log.

Stewart was arrested, and is currently being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail on one misdemeanor count of battery against a previous significant other. His bail is set at $50,000, and he is next due in court on Thursday.

Rape reported on Thilow Drive

A Rosemont woman last week reported an alleged rape by a man she previously dated and currently has a restraining order against, according to the crime log.

The man and woman have had an "on and off, physically violent relationship over the past 11 years," the department said. The woman has a restraining order against the man, but doesn't report him when he violates the order, according to the department.

On April 8, the man allegedly visited the woman. The two argued, fought and the woman says she was raped, according to the crime log.

The man is described only as a 54-year-old white male, standing 5-foot-6 and weighing 170 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes.

Argument at department warehouse leads to arrest

A man visiting the sheriff's department's property warehouse just east of Rosemont Thursday was arrested after fighting with a plainclothes detective, according to the crime log.

The man, 29-year-old Daylan Plousha, struggled with a plainclothes detective at the Bradview Drive facility and refused to obey orders to lay on the ground, the department said. Plousha was struck twice with with a flashlight and shot with a Taser that did not have an affect, the crime log states.

Plousha was handcuffed and placed into a patrol car, where he allegedly kicked and bent the rear window frame.

Plousha is currently being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail awaiting a probation hearing related to a 2008 charge of elder abuse. He is ineligible for bail.
