A few weeks ago, the Sacramento Bee ran a special advertising section profiling Rosemont's real estate appeal.
It painted the community as "friendly and family-oriented," and quoted occasional Patch contributor and Vice President Terry Dugan.
"At the time we moved there, all the families were about the same age," former Rosemont resident Wayne Saunders was quoted as saying about the early 1970s. "It was a great community, with a swimming pool and small clubhouse. We really enjoyed that. We had good neighbors, had parties and barbecues."
